映画『精神』　"Mental"

観察映画という手法で撮影されたドキュメンタリー。
私は想田監督にまず、ありがとう、と言った。
彼らと向き合い、この映画を制作し、社会へ公開してくれたことに。
この映画を見ると、彼らがすぐ隣にいることがわかる。
そのおかしみに一緒に声を立てて、笑え、
その悲しみに静かに涙する。
そして、地域に暮らす彼らを支える先生の存在に、そんな先生がいてくれたのか、と嬉しく思う。

The movie "Mental" directed by Mr. Soda Kazuhiro
is observation documentary film focused on persons with mental disabilities living in a remote western prefecture in Japan.

First of all, I told my gratitude to Director Soda
as he spent a while with them and making this movie to publicize in our society.

When I watched it, I felt they are with me.
I laughed when they were joking and teared when they were in sorrow.

And also I am glad that there is a wonderful doctor who
are beside them and has been supporting community living of persons with mental disabilities.
